 This drives me BONKERS!!!!!  Along with misspelled emails - there is autocorrect in outlook - how do people still manage to send emails with misspellings?!  (watch now I will misspell everything all over this group/board...)

 Sidenote - what does FFFC stand for? Trying to learn all the acronyms but there are so many!

Or your and you're. I'm not a teacher, but I am disgusted by poor grammar.

 

My confession. It is 9:30AM, and I still have not brushed my teeth, showered or changed out of my pajamas. My kids are not dressed, but at least they have been fed. I am feeling lazy today. At least the dogs are fed and the chickens are out. The rest can wait.

AGH!  How is that even possible?!?  I want to give my coworkers an Outlook tutorial when they send emails with typos.  Not only do misspellings show up in red, but you should have it set to spell check before sending.  Geesh.

FFFC = Flame-Free Friday Confessions, which are rarely flame-free, although this board has been pretty nice.  )

My confession:  I could seriously punch my MIL in the face.  She is driving me up the wall with her endless, completely outdated, pregnancy advice.  Add to that the fact that she and my husband are fighting (they do NOT know how to communicate - she goes into super drama queen mode and his defensive mechanism is to freeze her out, which just makes her ramp up the drama), and GAH!!!!!

bad grammar kills me. people sound so stupid when they can't compose a proper sentence or manage to spell things correctly. that and text speak (ur instead of your, b4 instead of before, etc.) are the worst. stop being so damn lazy and learn how to write.

I am so annoyed at Dunkin Donuts. I ordered a decaf coffee this morning, and I KNOW they gave me caffeinated. I haven't had caffeine in probably 8 months. I don't ever drink it, for non-pregnancy related reasons, and can tell the difference when someone sneaks it in. 

It makes me so angry.

I completely gave up soda over a year ago and have felt great ever since.  Until Wednesday.  I couldn't keep anything down on Wednesday at all, and my dad was drinking a Coke and I asked for a sip.  Four or five sips later, my stomach was settled and stayed that way for hours.  It was the best I had felt in weeks.  So this morning when I was feeling queasy I popped a Coke in the fridge.  Knowing the relief it would bring, I wound up opening it before 11 a.m. :-/

Awww.... Coke "heavy" (which I never normally drink) has been my savior the last couple of weeks.  It's like a m/s miracle drug.

Oh, I forgot.

I went to Starbucks yesterday, because it was hot as all get out and I had a gift card, and all I wanted was a chocolate milk, but blended like a frappachino. So when they gave me one with cookies in it, I almost cried. I had them remake it, and they added syrup on the top, which I didn't want. Then I DID cry. Stupid hormones.

I really should do some cleaning today (especially dusting), but I think I'm going to watch TV and read instead. And... I'll probably eat ice cream tonight even though I had 2 cookies and a piece of ice cream cake yesterday.

I have not been eating healthy since I found out I was preg. Last time around, this was because I had no appetite so I had to force myself to eat whatever seemed semi appetizing. Right now I haven't had m/s yet (I know it will come soon), but I'm frankly just too lazy to make healthy food. They always need to be fresh and take a lot more preparation time. It's just so much easier to stick a frozen pizza in the toaster oven, which I am doing right now.

My intolerance for several of my co-workers has dramatically racheted up lately.  I secretly fantasize about just losing it and telling them off... the sound of their voices makes me cringe - I am constantly wearing headphones at work right now.

I've never been much into soda, but with my awful m/s last pregnancy, it was the only thing I could drink. And it had to be ice cold. It helped soo much. Water, my favorite thing to drink, made me gag. For hydration, I started drinking ice cold Vitamin Water.

So far my productivity at work today has been about 15% the other 85% of my time has been spent eating and being online, and it's only 1pm. 

My other confession is that I hate Nickelback.  There I said it and it feels good to get that off my chest.

My DH never takes his dirty cups to the kitchen when he?s finished with them. Im a SAHM so Im ok with cleaning them - when they  are there to be cleaned - but he NEVER takes them.

Its really bad with his tea cups as he leaves some dregs in the bottom along with the tea bag. Im forever telling him to take them thru to be washed.

So yesterday  - in a huff - I went to get his cup - his FAVOURITE cup - from the floor beside the bed and I dropped it. It broke - glass everywhere, cold tea all over the floor and under the bed where its hard to get to.

I was fuming by this time - the baby was crying in the lounge, but I cldnt go to him without cleaning up the glass cz the cats cld tread in it.

 So he comes home to a crying baby and me on my hands and knees trying to clean up.He was well upset that it was his favourite cup.

My confession is that  I told him that he?d left his cup in such a stupid place that the cat knocked it over and that it was really his fault.

And I dont feel bad about it either.

I teach high school Spanish, and it drives me up the wall when students answer questions with idk. UGH! Not only is idk not a word, it's not in SPANISH! Or....I have several ask "Do we have to answer in Spanish?" This one even drives other students crazy, so I usually let them handle it.

Confession: I ate Chick-fil-a AND pizza yesterday. It was absolutely delicious, but I am paying for it today lol.

I think water births are just plain nasty. Seriously, why would any one want to sit in a pool of bodily fluids. Just having the possibility of urine, feces, blood and other things floating Around me just creep me out.

Me too! I can't stand them. I get angry when I hear them on the radio and quickly snap it off.

I had two breakfasts today.  I had Honey Bunches of Oats at 7 this morning.  Then, I had to drive around and get our power and water switched to the new house, and decided I was hungry again.  It was 9:30.  I ate a breakfast burrito and hash browns from Chick-fil-A in the Lowe's parking lot, using their free Wi-Fi until it was time to drive to my OB appointment

It grosses me out too. Whenever I see a water birth on TLC baby story and they have the baby and just sit in the bath I'm thinking "get out!" I don't judge others who do it though. It's just not for me.

Ditto!  It drives me nuts when people abbreviate words or talk in text lingo.  Like when they say vaca instead of vacation, fab instead of fabulous, LOL, OMG, etc.  I understand using text talk in emails, texts, or posts, but not in conversation. It doesn't take that much extra time to say the whole word!

I've always been really strict about giving DS fresh, organic (when possible) food. In the last two weeks I've been so tired I've been relying on mostly prepared foods (plus cooking makes me gag). As a result DS has now tried and loved Kraft mac and cheese, pre-made sloppy joe mix and french fries. Of course this all seems relatively healthy when compared to my steady diet of hot pockets, milk shakes and fast food sandwiches.

I yelled at three security guards this morning for making me have to get out of my car to sign in a delivery truck. They were just dropping off a futon, and it took more time getting them into the community than to unload the stupid thing! I believe I yelled at the last one I am moving because I can't put up with this ridiculous crap....hormones

I think I'm eating for 4 instead of 1.25 people right now I'm dreading having to step on the scale at my first appt and then answering the question about my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm pretty sure I'll have gained more weight by then than I did in all of my first trimester last time I keep secretly thinking about adding a few pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight so it doesn't look like I've gained as much.

 I have been SO unproductive at work since I found out I was pregnant over 2 weeks ago.  I actually lay down on a yoga mat on the floor of my office with the lights off for about 20 minutes a few days ago.

I'm definitely not looking forward to DH leaving our family for 7 months & for the birth of our LO, but I'm definitely looking forward to being surrounded by my friends and family and some awesome tex-mex (yep PG cravings).
