TTC after 35

OPK vs ob/gyn

I went to the doctor on Wed, based on the sonogram, my ob/gyn said that I will ovulate on Sat/Sun.  And, I got a positive OPK last night.  So we BD last night, I am thinking BD again today and tomorrow and maybe Sunday?  But part of me a bit worred BD 4 days in a row, since my D has low volume and motility (not horrible but borderline okay).

Re: OPK vs ob/gyn

  • I got pregnany twice having sex every other day while I was fertile...just an option if you are worried.  I'm know every other day is recommended for a low count, not sure about low motility and volume.  GL!

  • I would probably have sex today, since it is better to have sex before ovulation than after.

4 days does sound like a lot..I would bet that if you got a positive yesterday that you should definitely have ovulated by Sunday.

    Good luck!
