Looking for a new OB

Hi! I'm looking for a new OB...I live on the westside in White Oak and used to go to seven hills, but my favorite doc isn't delivering anymore:/ Any suggestions greatly appreciated:) Also, what hospital do they deliver at? Thanks!

Re: Looking for a new OB

  • I'd stay with Seven Hills.  They have lots of other doctors that do deliver.  My GYN dropped the OB part and transferred me to the rest of the OB/GYNs who do deliver when I got pregnant.  They have you see every doctor at least once because you don't know which one will be on call when you do deliver.  Plus, they have a million locations!

  • I go to Women's Partners In OB/GYN. Love them! They deliver at Good Sam.

I go to Dr. Sandy Gardner at Good Sam OBGYN and love them there.
  • I loved Mt Auburn Women's Center, I went to their office at Christ which is also where they deliver.

  • I'm glad to hear that! I go to Mt. Auburn too (Dr. Roberts), but I've been thinking about switching, because they are always so rushed. How was the whole experience for you? When was it "normal" for them to do U/S? I have my 1st appt on Thurs (7 weeks), and am wondering if they will try to hear the heartbeat or anything. I would appreciate anything you can share! :)

  • I live in Western Hills and I go to Dr. Bhalani at premier ob/gyn. She goes to Good Sam or B. North. She and the rest of the office staff are AMAZING!!!!

  • I also went to Women's Partner's in OBGYN, I saw Dr. Vernard and I really liked them.
  • I also went to Mt. Auburn & loved all the doctors! Sometimes they seemed a little rushed, but that was okay with me because I liked being in & out (as long as they answered all the questions I had, which they always did). They only did one U/S for me, the anatomy scan at 21 weeks. I think the "norm" is to do the anatomy scan anywhere between 18-22 weeks. At my first appt, I was 8 weeks & they were able to find the heartbeat :) Good luck to you!!
