... but how did you tell your family that you were pregnant? I always hear of clever ways people tell folks, but I can't remember many of them now...
Anyone feel like sharing?

Re: This may have been asked before...
Well, we were going to wait until July 4th when we do a combination Father's Day (I was working so we couldn't celebrate that day)/July 4th/Birthday picnic at my parents and I was just going to give MH a Father's Day card in front of everyone.
But my parents are going back to CT this weekend and I thought it might be nice to allow my mom to tell her parents/my grandparents who are 96 (my grandfather has started to have some health issues). That way, my grandparents would have someone telling them in person and my mom would get to be the star of the hour-- an easy way to make her happy since I pretty much took her out of the decision-making process with my wedding...
I was thinking I could send my parents each a photo on their phones as they're making the trip down today-- a picture of a bun in the oven and a caption that says "but this one won't be ready to enjoy until March 2nd." I'm an avid baker so that would kind of tie in well, but it's not terribly original...
I'm the last of the 3 kids to have children, so I wanted it to be kind of neat.

Daniele,
I think that is such a cute idea! Did you end up doing it?
