xp: Nutramigen users --> how do you mix? (lumpy!)

How are you mixing your bottles?  When I shake, I find it to be super lumpy and not mixed up. Someone posted on another of my post that the little formula "balls" are not good for the digestive system and I realized that I probably don't get all of them out.  With DD1 I had the Dr. Brown's mixing pitcher and so I was thinking of getting another one of those again - but wasn't sure if it worked any better for this formula.  TIA!

Hm, I don't really have that issue. I just put the powder into the water and shake vigorously. I do notice a tiny bit of powder stuck on to the bottle but no "balls" mixed in.

are you using too much formula?  if not using too much then it should dissolve in ok.  I did notice that it is harder to mix if you are making say 5oz in a 5oz bottle...not enough room at the top to mix.  bigger bottles work better.

Shake harder?? My alimentum is the same way.

I mix it in another container (it is a dressing mixer) then poor it into the bottle, I just try to make it up early to give it time to let the air bubbles out from shaking.
