39 week appt. today

First, I show up at 8:45 am and forgot my appointment wasn't until 2 (I looked at the wrong appointment card).  Thankfully they were able to get me in anyways.  After doing the internal exam, the dr. said she couldn't feel the head during the internal and was almost positive she was head up. She started telling me that if LO is head up I should make an appointment at the hospital the next day so they could try and turn her since I am practically 39 weeks. At that point, I started to feel really down.  She ordered a position and growth ultrasound to see how LO is and check the growth since I am measuring big. 

Fast forward until noon.  Baby is head down (thankfully)!  The ultrasound tech was awesome and got me lots of pictures and videos of LO, even one with her smiling!  She said LO is measuring big (about 40 weeks and just shy of 9 lbs).  Not sure if I really believe the 9 lb part but only time will tell.
