1st Trimester

crying

They're calling me in for an ultrasound tomorrow at 1:00. Apparently my HCG levels are not where they want them to be. I am freaking the f out. Should I be worried?

Re: crying

  • Do you have any more information?  Based on what you gave us, I'm not sure if that's enough to warrant being worried or not.  Good luck to you though, let us know how it goes.

  • my levels are extremely low right now also. i am 13 weeks but they got to hear the babys heart beat it was 149. if they can hear the babys heart beat then thats a great start. Try not to worry im waiting on my test results right now and i know that not worrying is hard but try and go do something to keep your mind off of it.
  • I would be worried, but no one knows anything for sure right now, that's why they want to take a look. Try to be as calm as you can. Good luck tomorrow.

have you already had an ultrasound? Is it possible you are not as far along as you think you are? Try to stay calm

  • Honestly, from what I've read, you can have low HCG levels and still have a healthy pregnancy. If you arent having any bad cramping or bleeding I wouldn't be too freaked yet! Good luck hunny!

  • I think I've seen somewhere that hcg levels start dropping somewhere between 9-12 weeks so they can get lower and not mean a whole lot. FX they do an ultrasound an everything looks good!
