Today is my company picnic, and I am shocked at the amount of jorts walking around here today. Even the fashionably gay guy in the next department is rockin the jorts today. I'm surpsised. Does that mean that jorts are cool? Gay guys know these things!

Men only.  Cargo shorts are much better than jorts.

Honestly, I have bigger issues with skinny jeans on guys, especially when they're funky colors. Their balls must feel so opressed.

Honestly I wonder which is worse, jorts or cargo shorts on males.  Why the cargo shorts?  You shouldn't be carrying that much stuff!  A simple pair of plain front khaki shorts is all you need to wear.

My son is wearing jorts today. They are Old Navy, too, because their jorts have an adjustable waist - their khakis don't. Poor kid is doomed to be tragically geigh.

No man should ever be allowed to wear jorts. Ever. I am not fully opposed to young boys (10 and under) wearing jorts but I'm still not buying them for my kid.

Yeah, DD probably is in jorts several times a week. We do call them grandma pants (mostly because of the elastic waist band) but she is comfy so I am happy.

Wait, jean shorts aren't cool? I just bought a pair of jean walking shorts and I love them. Do I need to hand in my cool card now?

ETA ok wait. Someone please explain. Are jorts only not cool for men and kids, or not cool for anyone? I'm so confused.

My DH just got some really nice jean shorts from The Buckle. The ones he got actually look nicer then cargo shorts with the bulky pockets sticking out all over.

I own several pairs of "jorts." I love them and honestly think they look cute. They are dark wash, not tight around legs. Good brands like Gap. I wear them with a cute tank top and sandals! DS also has a pair or two they we like. DH does not, but I still don't see anything wrong with them though!

Honestly, I never knew this was an issue! I wonder how many people cringe when they see me coming in my jorts!!!
