... what would you have been named? My parents were leaning toward Brendan, even though my normally mild mannered grandma hated it. She was worried people would call the male me "Brendella," LOL. My mom likes to tell this story.

Of course, I'm an early 70s baby when everybody was Team Green.

My mom never had an US done because they didn't tend to do them back then unless there was a suspected problem (I was born in 86) and she was convinced I was a boy. I was named Shane Thomas until I came out and was lacking the proper equipment!

I would have been Andrew Hunter. Hunter is a family name. By the time my brother was born, the name had already been used. So he is Chase, which means Hunter.

I would have been Thomas or Michael after my grandfathers.  I can't remember which one.   My middle sister would have been Daniel (after the Elton John song). She is Danielle. My youngest sister would have been James (after my dad and this was my mom's last baby).  She is Jaime.   So both my sisters got female versions of the male name.   I got a totally different name.

I was born when they did A/S but they were so less accurate. My mom was told I was a boy. I had monogrammed crap with "Ian" on it until I was like two.

My dad is a third generation Clyde, and my mom was relieved I was a girl because she thinks my dad would have insisted on naming me Clyde IV, although he denies this. He specifically told us not to name DS after him. We were thinking of using Clyde as a middle name but went with my maiden name instead.

I am not positive, but I think it would have been Andrew. They named me after a distint historical relative that everyone said was a "genious". Not sure how he got that classification, but they said that is who I am named after (my name is Andrea). So I suspect I would have simply been Andrew had I been a boy.

I am a 1985 baby (team green as well) and I was going to be Gregory Jared. Not a fan. I will take Aimee Nicole any day over Gregory!

I never asked, but I assume I would have been Robert Michael, which is what they named my younger brother.  Robert was after my grandfather, Michael after my mom's brother.
