    The OWT is that a faster heartbeat is a girl. There's about a 50% chance that's correct.

    It's WAY less than 50% in your first trimester.  Almost all babies have a high heartrate then. 

    After that it's 50%...there's no truth to it, at all.

    Supposedly boys have lower heart rates and girls have higher ones... this isn't always true.

    My parents were told by MY doctor when my mom was preggo with me that I was a boy because I had such a low heart rate. (They wanted me to be a "surprise" so they didn't confirm on the ultrasound) But nopeee... pretty sure I have all my girly parts!
