My new OBGYN reviewed my charts for the last 6 months and identified that I consistently have a temp drop (usually below Cover Line) around 6 DPO.
He suggested that this could be an indicator for a Progesterone deficiency.
I have one more blood test to take (on the coming CD3) to have more conclusive results, but I wanted to know if anyone here has heard about it previously.
This article I was reading: https://www.inciid.org/printpage.php?cat=infertility101&id=7
Says:
"With the above information, it is easier to understand the many symptoms associated with LPD. Progesterone is responsible for the rise in basal body temperature during the luteal phase. Women who monitor their basal body temperature will thus often note that luteal phase temperatures do not stay reliably elevated for twelve days. Additionally, women who monitor the time of ovulation often notice that their next cycle begins sooner than the normal 12-14 days after ovulation. Once a diagnosis of LPD is suspected, a serum progesterone test will often be performed at about seven days past ovulation. A level less than 14 ng/ml indicates that progesterone production in the luteal phase is inadequate."
My LP avarage is 13 days (according to FF).
Can anyone shed some further light or share some information about this? I am curious.

Yes, it can be indicative of a P4 issue, but CD3 bloodwork will not help figure it out. You would need 7dpo bloodwork.
It can also mean nothing--having an LP of 13 days is good, so you probably have enough P4 to at least sustain your LP. There is studies that say the temp dip is from a secondary estrogen surge that we have about half way through the LP--that is why the elusive "implantation dip" is not a good sign of pg. I would say since you have it every cycle and your LP is of good length, it is more likely the second estrogen surge.
Very good point and I've read about the estrogen surge in TCOYF...I've noticed sometimes a LP temp drop for me corresponds with fertile cm showing back up.

Ditto this.
So I wonder why he is asking for CD3 bloodwork...

My old charts used to look like yours, pre-treatment. I ended up not getting treatment for it until 13 months TTC though. As I'm sure you've read, there's a lot more that goes into LPD testing than just progesterone @7dpo, but that's a good, non-invasive starting point.
I tried the B6 and B-complex to increase length and quality of my LP and nothing changed. Even progesterone therapy alone did not change my LP- only that my temps were higher but still rocky with a short LP. Good luck.
ETA: I just read through the rest of the responses when I realized you said CD 3 b/w, which I see others have already pointed out will not help you with your LP issues. Also, luvmyducks gave solid info too. Keep an eye on it- for some people it evens out after a loss and for others, months later it does not.
