I'm new to this board and we have just started to consider the IVF route. Looking for names of good Dr.'s in the area! I'm very high maintenance so I want someone that will give me quality care!! LOL
The "best" clinic is so subjective. I saw Dr. Goldstein in Frisco in order to conceive both my pregnancies. His nurse, Linda, is fantastic. He has a slightly odd bedside manner. But, I have yet to meet or hear about an RE who doesn't. Also full disclosure, we used IUI, not IVF. But the monitoring appts are the same, meds are the same just usually less of them, and all the initial testing was the same. GL!

Thank you ladies. This gives me a good starting point! So many choices out there! I just found out this week that my SIL and her hubby did IVF. She used Dr. Kaufmann and raves about him. Thanks so much!
Dr. Sam Chantillis is really great. I didn't do IVF, but we did look into it. I was actually under his care when I just got pregnant but I loved his office. The people were wonderful.
I saw dr. Goldstein and recommend him. Ultimately, I did my IVF with dr. Chantilis and found success. I am going back to Dr. Goldstein for IVF for baby #2 when we are ready, his office is closer to me. I thought the Dr.s in Chanilitis office were really nice, they are female, if that matters to you.
I would NOT recommend CAR (center for assisted reproduction).
Dr. Barnett, Dr. Douglas and dr. Lee seem to be very well regarded and popular. I know of two friends that saw Dr. Barnett for IVf and had success on the first try.
Find a group or clinic that has good success rates and a great embryologist and clinic. It seems like every RE has poor bedside manner, like gypsy said. When looking for a RE for IVF his bedside manner would be low on my list.
Dr. Goldstein is wonderful for diagnosis and surgery and gypsy is right his nurse is amazing.
Years of trying and treatment, IVF#1 brought us
