Ok to preface, our boys have common first names but fun middle names (Ranger, Maverick). We found out #3 is 85% likely a girl. We'd like to give her a fun middle name too but it seems harder with girls. Here's our one and only name (DH is stuck on it completely):
Madeline Pepper T.
Madeline pronounced with Line at the end.
WDYT? Or Any other fun middle names that go with Madeline?
Re: What do you think of this girl name with whimsical middle name?
It's okay; I guess I'm indifferent. I can't decide if the FN just is boring to me or if I have a problem with the combo.
Poppy is a similar name that may work, too.

I love it! We had fun mn picked out for boys but had two girls instead so I hear you how it is more difficult. We were considering Robot for a girl mn. Did you want to stick w/ the Tx theme?
Madeline Blue (bonnet)
Madeline Pecan (tree)
Madeline Star (stick w/ the sports theme?)
Edit:We ended up w/ 2 GP MN's for my girls: Presley & Saylor. H reminded me we were considering Paisley, Basil and Rocket. He suggested Hollywood. I still like Pepper a lot! Paisley may be a nice alternative if you're unsure.
Me too. MN like Grace, Rose bore me a little bit.
Pepper doesn't do anything for me, nor does it inspire your daughter to do anything. It's just 'cute' which IMO puts her at a disadvantage.
Madeline Victory
Madeline Courage
Madeline Honor
understand wanting something fun....but if my parents named me pepper i wouldnt think it was so funny!

I love the idea but don't love Pepper. I don't hate it though. How about
Madeline Pippa
Madeline Poppy
Madeline Winter
Madeline Willow
Madeline Story
Madeline Ever
Madeline Winnie
I guess I'm in the minority but I prefer meaningful middle names, family related and the like.
I'll stick by the "your kid, your name style" thing though.
PS - I love Madeline pronounced Mad-eh-line!!! Pronouncing it "Madelyn" sounds wrong to me when it's spelled ---line!
I like Pepper, as well as Poppy, Piper, and Honor. Daisy, Kit or Penny could be fun, too. ETA: I like Felicity also.
EETA: I just heard a woman with the middle name Nightingale. Its a mouthful, but I think it is a pretty awesome namesake for a woman.

DD is named Madeline. DS has a very fun middle name and we wanted the same for DD but could never quite decide on something.
Our top choice was Madeline Rouge, but she ended up with a uncommon, but not fun middle name instead.
