Any cool stories?

We are telling my family next week the good news. We are bringing a bottle of wine with a label we had made on it called "its a baby" with instead of the vintage year we put February 2013. The label looks real lol My parents are wine drinkers so it will be fun to see their reaction when they look to see what kind we brought lol

We put this poem on the inside of my husbands dads fathers day card. They cried

 

 I do not have a face to see, 

Or put inside a frame. 
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss, 
I don't yet have a name. 
You can't yet hold my tiny hands, 
Nor whisper in my ear. 
It's still too soon to sing a song, 
Or cuddle me so near. 
But all will change come ________, 
That's when the say I'm due. 
I'm your new grandson or granddaughter, 
I can't wait till I meet you. 
All I ask between now and then, 
Is your patience while I grow. 
I promise I'll be worth the wait, 
Because of all the love we'll know. 
So what I have to give you now, 
is a wish to you from me. 
I cannot wait to be a part 
Of this wonderful family.

Very cute ideas (and poem)!!

DH and I planned to have dinner with our parents because it was restaurant week. Shortly after we got our BFP we decided we would tell them and that would be the perfect time since we would all be together. We bought two little baby books and on the front I put a post-it saying "please read this to me in January 2013. signed baby P". The look on their faces was priceless!

We told our parents this weekend.  I designed and framed a "Birthday" Invitation.  That started with "Please join us in celebrating a birthday... for someone arriving sometime in late January 2013."  It was really cool to see the look on my parents' faces.  I get a little choked up when I think about it.  Then we gave one to MIL the next day and she cried, too.

It was really fun and makes this whole being pg thing feel so much more real.
