Talk to me about E2 levels while stimming for IVF

Just thinking...

So for IVF #1 my E2 was around 1100 the morning I triggered & we only ended up with 2 mature eggs.  This was with another practice; I am now back with my old RE who wonders if I maybe ovulated some eggs before retrieval.  I know they say your E2 is anywhere from 150-300 per mature follie.  What has your experience been?

    My E2 was 3142 just 2 days before ER and I had 27 eggs, 27 mature, and 23 fertilized.  So, the "normal" 200 per egg didn't hold true for me.

     


    After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
    IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
    No heartbeat at 10w6d
    FET August 27,2012 = BFP!
    It's a boy!

    My E2 was 2400 the day I triggered with about 19 follicles counted on the u/s.  They retrieved 21 eggs, I don't know how many were mature but 17 fertilized with ICSI.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    It a depends on protocol.  W antagonist it was closer to 100 per mature egg.  Higher w long Lupron.   Are they adding lh?  I would highly suggest that. I think it contributes largely to maturation and it's basically unheard of here to not have it on board.   Even the soley mfi protocols have it...so basically those are "fertile" women.  Good luck!!!!

    I don't remember my exact number but i know it was around 3200....we ended up with 26 eggs retrieved with only 16 being mature
    1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS
    IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010

    Trying for # 2 since 2012.  2 failed FETS 1 failed IUI.
    IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)
    March 2015- Chemical pg

    1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

    Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
