short term disability

So I just got my acceptance letter from my insurance for my STD payments.  Great, except I'm only getting it for 6 weeks, as the letter states the recovery time for a normal vaginal or cesarean delivery is 6 weeks.

I could SWEAR I was supposed to get 8 weeks for my c/s.  Now I'm digging through all my paperwork trying to figure out where I read that.  Argh.  So frustrating.

    Your right it is definitely 8 weeks for csection, 6 weeks for a normal vaginal...that is so annoying...STD only gave me 4 weeks and I had to call and they made a mistake and it was supposed to be 6 weeks..it only takes about 6 different people and lots of hold time to get it figured out! Good luck hope you get that straightened out

    Just called and got it fixed.  Luckily it was easy, I'm not in the mood to argue with insurance right now, lol.
