So I was out shopping with my sister and LO for Father's Day. My sister was watching my daughter while I was trying to put stuff in my basket and I was taking a call so I got a bit distracted and all of a sudden some random employee starts taking pics of my daughter. She had already taken it before I even realized what she was doing. Ummmmm I dont know you lady! Rude, rude, rude and weird ,on top of that she didn't even ask my permission. My sister was trying to get her to not take a picture and pointed her in my direction as to say to her mom is over there ask her but no she didnt. Needles to say I got the manager involved. I really should have karate kicked her in the face. Seriously where do people get off thinking doing things like this is ok? Has this happened to anyone before? How did you handle it?
Re: Hello random employee
Happened two days ago when we were hiking. We met some random people on the trail. One minute they're taking pictures if a woodpecker, next they are taking pictures of our baby and our dog!! I thought it was a little weird too, but didn't bother me too much. I think we just have really cute kids!!
This would really bother me. Why the f**k does some random stranger need a pic of your LO for any reason? And without asking. No way. I would have come unglued. OP, what did the employee/manager say!? I'm all riled up and pissed off just thinking about how mad I would be if this happened to me.

The manager kept apologizing and said she had no idea why she would do that because it is weird and inappropriate. She talked to her and had her erase it.
Wow. I get that people think kids are cute but it still freaks me out, I see cute kids all the time but I dont take pictures of them or touch them. I just think their is a line that you dont cross and this is one of them for me.
I guess there is a difference in the fact that a store employee whipped out her camera and took a picture, and this person already had their camera out and were tourists documenting their trip with photos. I guess maybe we looked like wildlife to them, probably because we hadn't showered in 3 or 4 days at that point. Honest to goodness, I never gave it a second thought until this post. Some things bother people more than others I guess.
