I have had this cold for almost 3 weeks and am pretty sure it has turned into a sinus infection. I don't really want to take anything for it b/c I am scared it might be bad for the baby but I am also worried about what being sick for so long might be doing too. My entire face (cheeks, eyes, forehead and even my teeth) are in so much pain. Curious if anyone else has had a sinus infection during first tri and if so, did you wait it out??
Re: Anyone else had a sinus infection?
You need to see your PCP or OB about it. Sinus infections and congestion issues commonly increase during pregnancy due to increased blood flow around the membranes in your sinus cavity. If it wasn't treated as a cold and has turn into an infection that can cause more issues down the road. Stay ahead of it.
