How do you know if you get all the soap out?

I see in wash routines that people say they do a rince until there are no more suds. How do you know there are no more suds? Do you run a diaper under the tap after you wash it?

This is probaby a stupid question but im confused

I'll normally peek in washer during rinse cycle to see if there are suds left.

I do the same.  I was so surprised how many rinses it takes to get suds out!  I was leaving so much soap in our clothes!
