Yes! I was actually concerned about how little bleeding I had, but the nurse at the hospital said (tmi) the OB had probably just done a good job of "sucking it all out". Gag. But after about 2 weeks after c/s #2, all I had was minor spotting. My bleeding was pretty minor with #1 as well, though, and didn't last longer than 3 weeks.

I bled for 6 weeks with the first, 4 weeks with the 2nd with some spotting for another week, and I have my third on the 10th of July. My recovery was easier the second time around and I am hoping that it isn't hard with this one.
My bleeding was very light with both of mine and I am hoping for the same thing this time around. To quote the pp...they do suction a good bit of it out when you have a c-section.
My first two were the same. I bled normally for around 6 weeks. This time I had problems with bleeding right after surgery. I was given Pitocin and and shot of something to help it stop. After they worked I had very little bleeding. I used pads but would have been fine with just panty liners. This time I only bled for around 4 weeks.

Re: Less bleeding with repeat c-section?
Not here. I bled 7 weeks with my first and 8 weeks with my second.
