Sick of eating

Is anyone else sick of eating. I feel Ike as long as I'm eating I'm not nausea and queezy. Sometimes I just lay here and deal with the sick feeling because I just don't want to eat anymore and to top it all off I don't have a taste for anything. I'm only 6 weeks and I just can't imagine 6 more weeks of this, I just want to cry. I'm sorry for the vent. Part of me feels ungrateful for venting but I just hope I'm not alone.

Re: Sick of eating

  • I've had the same problem for weeks.  It is getting slightly better but I still need to eat frequently. Sipping coke (I usually don't drink soda) has helped and keeping small healthy things on hand has helped away (primarily cut up fruit and berries).  Some other people have mentioned success with sucking on hard candy.

Jolly ranchers, popsicles, and lemon water saved my life from weeks 5-13. I have also heard ginger ale helps (the kind with real ginger in it).  Hang in there!

I have the same problem; but I'm so glad that eating prevents throwing up and nausea.  I do pretty much hate food, but I've found some things that are easier to eat: chocolate soymilk is one of the best.  I also like breakfast breads--muffins, scones, etc.  Pickles and vinegary stuff is good, too.

  • I have never hated saltines more!!

I started using some anti-nausea wrist bands a couple days ago and they seem to be helping a bit.  Might be worth a try.
  • I've had to eat every two hours to keep from getting sick. I eat small things like a bagel, a handful of grapes, some crackers, carrots and celery, etc....this way I am snacking healthy and always have something in my stomach.
