We had a sit in walker and the vetch walker. DS loved the sit in walker for a really long time, he didn't really care for the push walker. But, the main thing he learned to walk with is a fisher price laugh and learn shopping cart. It was the perfect size for him to push. Its not sold anymore unless you can score it at a tag sale but I know they make a little baby carriage for girls that is very similar. I think that's your best bet hth!
We have the Vtech and DD loves it, but she doesn't like to walk with it (the wheels lock) because then she can't really play with it well, lol. She also has the Fisher Price Stride to Ride. She likes to walk with that and stand and play with the Vtech. Once she gets better at it, I think she'll enjoy walking around with it.
We have the VTech Sit to Stand farm one and he likes that one a lot. He likes to play with the toy on it rather than walk with it now. We also have the VTech activity walker. I think the style of the activity walker is more forgiving to new walkers, but the sit to stand offers more options as far as playing goes.
We have the V-tech farm one too - DS likes it but got sick of it pretty quickly and it's probably the most annoying of all his humming, buzzing, talking toys. My parents bought him the V-tech alphabet train - it's a sit to stand and ride along - he loves it - teaches the alphabet and numbers. It's a pretty cool toy.
We had the Fisher Price Stride and Ride and DD loved the thing. She still uses it sometimes as a riding toy.
Also I would strongly suggest going to a consignment store for any walking toys. There are usually a million of them there and in good shape since they are used for such a short period of time. I got DD's at one for 15 bucks.
Someone gave us the Fisher Price "Bright Beginnings Activity Walker" and our son was obsessed with it. Spent hours and hours and hours pushing it up and down our long hallway, over and over and over. He can walk now, but still pushes it at least fifteen minutes a day.
Our DD got the Vtech walker at 10 months old and she started walking unassisted a few days later. Now at 15 months old she still loves it and plays with every day- she RUNS full speed with it! She dances to the music and seriously it's one of the first thing she goes for when she wakes up. I have bought it for gifts for several others because she likes it so much. I love it and highly recommend it.
DS loves the Fisher Price activity walker. It actually light enough for him to turn when he gets stuck on something. It's really cute & funny to watch him steer it around. :P

Wow! So many wonderful suggestions here! I'm going to look into all of these - I'm sure one of these will definitely work out perfectly for her. Thank you all for your suggestions!
