Two Under 2

Need to hear it gets easier less over whelming

We just came home this afternoon and I can't stop crying. I'm so nervous and scared for tonight. It doesn't help my fiance works the third shift so I will be completely on my own with all 3 girls from 730 on till 730-8 in the morning. Please tell me these feelings get better and it gets easier. I wish I was back at the hospital still.

  • It DOES get easier!! And, you poor thing, you're probably experiencing the crazy 2 day pp hormones-- My hormones went NUTS 2 nights after giving birth. I could not stop sobbing, was totally overwhelmed, etc.

Deep breaths, mama. It's going to be ok!

  • It does get easier!  Each day you will get into a routine and before you know it, your newest DD will be as old as DD #2.  It has happened to me.  I am putting outfits on my DD #2 that DD #1 was wearing when DD #2 was born.  I survived and so will you!

    Hugs!

  • The first 2 weeks were pure hell for me and then I took a deep breath and realized I could not do everything all at once. Sometimes one of the girls has to cry and wait until I am done, they get over it.

My BF is home at night but not much help. #1 thinks it's playtime if she sees daddy and #2 is breastfed so the best he can do is try to get her to take the binky on the off chance #1 is up (she mostly sleeps through the night but not always)

It does get easier but not everyday, sometimes I am a frazzled mess but those days are few enough now that it doesn't matter.
