Positive Test, No Symptoms

I found out yesterday that I am expecting! I took three different brands of tests and four tests all together! lol So far, I am only experiencing a bloated feeling and my nipple are a little sore. I also have no clue how far along I might be because my last cycle,the first and only one I had after I stopped taking the pill, was back at the end of March. I had scheduled an appt. for tomorrow prior to knowing (we thought that something was wrong). Will the dr. be able to tell me about how far along I am?

If they have any idea about how far along you are after checking your uterus [by performing a pelvic exam] they might order an ultrasound. They'll likely only order one if they think you're far enough to see anything though.

On another note - I really have had very few symptoms either so I wouldn't worry about your lack of symptoms.

Bloating and sore nipples are symptoms, so your title "positive test, no symptoms" is wrong. Not everybody throws up, although many start between 5-8 weeks, so if you're still early in pregnancy, it might still happen!

I have been having the same symptoms. It's odd to complain about no symptoms but other than the positive test you almost want something else confirming that your pregnant just so you can be sure you still are.

yep, I agree with everyone.  I'm 6 weeks along and the only symptoms I've had were sore boobs, bloating (to the extreme!) and a little fatigue.  I got kinda worried this past weekend though cause I only had the bloating.  I was at drills for the army and I guess I was so caught up in doing my missions that I didn't really notice anything else.  I got paranoid and took a test when I got home though and I'm still very much so pregnant :]

I feel the same way. My period was late so I took 4 tests and they were all negative. When AF still hadn't come, I took another test and it was positive. The only symptom I have is fatigue, but since I have a little boy running around, I am tired anyway. I go on the 26th for an u/s and I hope it is positive!

They will likely do a pelvic exam at your appointment and might schedule an ultrasound to "date" the pregnancy more accurately. Don't worry about "no" symptoms. My symptoms come and go on a daily basis. The week that I found out I was pregnant I thought that my period was about to start: bloating, mild cramping, breast tenderness, headache, etc....
