Re: Just for fun...

  • I think I must be the only one to not have cravings. I mean I want certain things but they're things I normally eat a lot and I don't crave them badly. I am disgusted by the smell and taste of eggs though.

  • The only thing I need is ice in my water. I used to just drink water straight from the fridge but now I want it to be ice cold.
  • For the past couple days I have wanted lemon ice blended with vanilla ice cream....and watermelon.
  • Panera everything bagels with butter. Yummy

  • No cravings yet.  Although I'm also not experiencing any food aversions yet, so I'll take it.

  • With DD I would just get random cravings when I saw something, like in a commercial or show on TV. I almost cried once when the Simpsons had pancakes for breakfast, I got a huge craving for them, and I realized we didn't have any maple syrup in the house.

So far with this one, nothing.

  • I wouldn't say I'm craving anything, but I have aversions to pretty much everything except fruit. And mac and cheese. It's so bizarre. Fortunately, I'm making myself choke down other things, but if I could live on mac and cheese and fruit, I would.

I don't have cravings yet either. I have a hard time finding most food appealing at this point. And ditto on the eggs. Yuck the thought of them makes me want to puke.

  • I had a whole bunch of fresh basil in my Vietnamese noodle soup today. Just be aware, that basil and oregano are herbs that are rumored to have labor-inducing effects... and apparently they're not recommended during pregnancy. I eat them anyway, but I didn't shred up ALL the basil into my soup today. :) Truth be told, I had eggplant parm to play up an old wives' tale when I was 39 w 1 d with DD...and my water broke that night.
