I'm almost 7 weeks pp and my husband and I tried having sex last night for the first time in about 7 months..and it HURT! Since I had a c/s I figured everything down there internally would be okay. It felt like one of my prenatal internal exams the Dr. performed at the end of pregnancy...and I was very posterior so those exams hurt! Anyone else experience pain like this? How long did it last? Why does it hurt so bad if I didn't deliver vaginally?

Are you breastfeeding? If you are, that can make it drier down there. The next time you try make sure to take it slow, have lots of lube nearby and maybe even have a glass or two of wine beforehand to help you relax. Good luck!

Don't worry, you're not alone.  Sex was also pretty painful for me that first time, so DH and I sort of avoided it.  But, the more you practice, the better it gets.  I'm 6 months pp and things are just now getting back to normal...but not much happened for those first 5 months.  Just try to relax and take it slowly at first.
