Post partum bleeding

Question for all the mommies with outside babies. My LO will be 2 weeks tomorrow and I feel like my bleeding has really started to pick up again and I am really really sore! When I left the hospital the bleeding had slowed down a lot and there was even awhile at home where it was pretty minimal and almost completely gone. Over the past few days it seems to have picked up again to what a normal period would be like and I have found myself to once again be very sore. The soreness isn't from the stitches but is more so muscle pain on the inside. I guess I am just wondering how long people have been bleeding for and when the soreness is supposed to go away.

The bleeding had gotten a lot better until two days ago. I called my doctor and they said the increased bleeding is from me bearing down to use the bathroom and me having been on my feet a lot. 

I hope the bleeding gets better soon for you (and me!).

I'm 3 wks out and still bleeding. I also had a semi complicated delivery.

I am PP two weeks tomorrownand am still bleeding. Nothing crazy but like a light period. It will get heavier if I do a lot of walking, cleaning or sitting on the floor. I don't feel sore at all though and haven't for a while. I had a second degree tear and was impressed how quickly I felt like I recovered.....of course I have no clue what's going on down there because I am too afraid to look! Maybe call your OB and see if she/he suggests anything like a motrin or a sitz bath.

A similar thing happened to me. When I left the hospital I felt fine, but a week after I gave birth- I had to walk 20 mins to and from the doctor's office for LO's first pedi appointment- I started to get sore again. It comes and goes but I haven't felt as good as I did since the day I left the hospital. Bleeding is fluctuating too- it almost disappeared for a few days, then yesterday picked up again.

PP bleeding definitely comes & goes, especially as your activity levels change etc. I'm 6 days pp & bleeding has picked back up as has soreness/swelling in the last day. Hang in there!

Increased bleeding and soreness is a sign that you need to rest more...you are probably pushing your body too much.  I know it is hard with a new baby.  Try to get help with housework and errands.
