How much would you pay?

Hi ladies,

What do you consider to be a reasonable amount to pay for a handmade ring sling made with nice fabric in a pretty print?  I'm seeing prices all over the place (especially on Etsy) but not sure what's a good deal and what's not.  Also contemplating just making my own...

it would really depend on the fabric and style wrap....but to be honest, I wouldn't buy a wrap from etsy just because you don't know if they used the right stitch...etc.

Probably something like a Maya Wrap.  I'm not even sure where to start right now and unfortunately I'm someone who does a ton of pricing research before I buy almost anything!

I paid about 70 for my ring sling from sleeping baby productions. I was willing to spend that because I knew of the research that the woman has put into her slings and the quality materials that she uses.

Yea, I wouldn't buy from Etsy. Go with a wrap conversion that you can either get form the swap or sleeping baby productions. She uses the right fabric and sling rings, while many etsy sellers use shiny rings aka craft rings that are not meant to be weight bearing. Don't skimp on that, you'll just put your baby in danger!
