Back Pain?!?!

It seems like ever since we came from the OBGYN I have had pain continuously in my lower back. We even went as far to buy extra padding to go on the bed to make me comfortable but there is still this lingering pain. We just want to see if this is something that usually occurs or should we be concerned. We will make any adjustments to ensure our baby is healthy, safe, and of course beautiful. If you ladies can offer any advice we are all ears. Thanks!

I had really bad back pains in early pregnancy.  It felt kinda like it does when AF comes, so of course I was worried.  I havent had any cramping or back pain since 9 weeks.  I do have to sleep with a pillow between my legs, I found that helped a lot.  I mostly had back pains in early morning, so I chalked it up to bad sleeping positions.

When in doubt, call your OB for reassurance. Hope you feel better soon!

  • I've been having a lot more back pain than usual but nothing's really helped! Just wanted to reassure you that at least one other bumpie is feeling the pain.
  • I have it too, off and on. Last night I had to sleep with a pillow under my butt. I read that the shifting of your pelvis and your growing uterus can pinch the nerves and cause pain. When I mentioned it to my nurse she told me they could refer me to a physical therapy place, so maybe yours can too. I don't think mine is bad enough yet for that yet and it's only every now and then.
