Hi there....I just found out that we are pregnant again. Looks like my due date is almost the same as what DS was. So we will be close to 2u2. I haven't told DH yet because he it running errands. I was planning on telling him through the card that I got to give him for father's day from DS. I just signed it love Carson and peanut. I want to give it to him today but tomorrow is really father's day. Plus we are going to meet both our families today for lunch. DH cannot keep a secret at all!!! Last time he blurted it out right after I told him. I'm just nervous about telling our families so early. I really wanted to wait until we went to my ob/gyn first. Thoughts????

Maybe you could ask him if he could please keep it private and you'd like to wait until you go to the doctors first. If he really wants to tell everyone, when you're ready let him. My husband and I just told our parents. We told our siblings like a week later. We don't plan on telling the rest of our family and friends until my next ob/gyn visit at the end of the month.

Congrats!!!  When is your LO's birthday?  He and my LO are close...she was born Feb. 4 and the new little nugget is due Feb. 8...so they'll be right at 2 years apart too!!

 

I would wait til tomorrow if you have to, I love your idea of how you plan to tell him!!

My DH was out of town for a week after I found out so I had to sit on my news for 6 days...it almost killed me!!

Congrats! We'll be hopefully just a bit under 2u2, also. As for telling your DH, I would hold off until tomorrow if you think he'll spill the beans today. I waited a day to tell my DH, mostly because I wanted to wait until the line was actually visible without scientific inspection.

DS was born on Feb 8th. But, his EDD was Feb 25th. According to FF this LO's EDD is also Feb 25th.

I ended up giving him the card and he agreed not to tell anyone until the we feel ready. I probably shouldn't have worried. Thanks for all the advice.
