Post bleeding after c section

I had a c section ten days ago but I am still bleediing when did you stop bleeding after giving birth via c section?

I think it was about four weeks--they said at the hospital it could be up to six.

Yeah, I had mine 9 days ago & I'm still bleeding. It's light though.

First time it was until about 5 1/2 weeks pp, this time until about 4 weeks on and off.

I am probably an anomaly in this regard, but I only had what I'd call real bleeding for the first three or four days.  Even then it wasn't anything like my heavy periods.  I had heavier spotting for another week or so, and not much (if you don't count light spotting when BFing) since then.  My OB did say it's normal to bleed less after a CS - I asked.

I bled for about 4wks. It was so light compared to what people had told me with vaginal births so I was nervous but the nurses said that the bleeding is much less b/c of the way they clean you out during the surgery.

I bled for 6 weeks with my first c/s and 7 weeks with my second and got my first pp period a week after the bleeding stopped with each.

After about 3 weeks my bleeding subsided quite a bit and I was mostly just spotting.
