Just got my doppler in yesterday and i've been able to find LO's heartbeat when I try but sometimes i'll barely get it and then it's gone again. I'm 12 weeks. Do you all have similar experiences? Is there times you can't find it at all?
I have been using mine for a week. At ten weeks I was able to find it easily, and it stayed in the same spot consisitently. I noticed the past 2 nights that it is alittle harder to find, and it moves (but I always find it). It will be really strong for a few seconds, then fade off a bit, and I have to move the wand slightly to find it again. I think that is because LO is moving around more.

At 11w2d the doctors weren't able to find a heartbeat on a doppler for me so I'm sure you might have difficulties for a while getting a consistent read. My ute is tipped pretty far back & baby is "sitting on it's head" so that's why they couldn't find it for me - I got a u/s instead which was cool.

Me too! And my OB said my own blood vessels are very LOUD so we moved to the ultrasound pretty quickly. I haven't tried to use the doppler since my appointment. If the OB can't find the baby's hb...
