Possible solution for cramping/abdominal pain

Yesterday, I started cramping with no blood. I also was pretty active that day, as I'm moving. Anyway, I googled some things about cramping/no blood while pregnant and while most people were saying, it's ok if there's no blood, it's normal, etc, etc....one person wrote that her doctor told her to drink a bunch of water, until she felt like she would throw up and then lie down because she was probably dehydrated. So I did that. And I was cramp free by bedtime. I realized I hadn't drank a lot of water that day since I was packing and directing people to pick up boxes! Hopefully this will help others :)

Re: Possible solution for cramping/abdominal pain

  • It's really easy to get dehydrated when pregnant! My sister ended up in the ER because she'd gotten so severely dehydrated without noticing it that her BP spiked.

  • Don't google! I did the same thing and it scared the crap out of me! I had cramping from weeks 4-14 and it's totally normal. Try to drink more water though, that may help!

  • Yup, my doctor told me to make sure I am getting plenty of water because not only is it good for you, but it also relieves cramps.
