So I *finally* got crosshairs on FF at CD 41.
I was reading online how the egg quality isn't great when you O really late into a cycle, and how it can lead to a higher chance of m/c.
Has anyone O'ed later on in their cycle and had a successful pregnancy?
TIA!
Re: Oing late in cycle (CD 40+)
I think the more important thing is to know how long your LP was.
If you only have a 48 day cycle & you Od on CD 41 that would mean your LP was only 7 days which is short and could be a problem. If you usually have a 53 day cycle your LP would be 12 days which falls in the "normal" range.
ETA I put normal in quotes because the more I read about pregnancy the more I realize normal has a huge range!
She's talking about egg quality, as in an egg that has been maturing for 40 days before it is released. This has nothing to do with LP.
With DD, I O'd on day 20, which isn't too bad, but I was still concerned in that it wasn't a "good" ovulation because my chart was not biphasic. However, DD came out perfect.
