Moby and cleaning

Is it okay if I use any chemicals while wearing my baby, such as windex, bleach, stove top cleaner (ceramabrite), anything like this?

I have a feeling it isn't. Is it?

Re: Moby and cleaning

  • I don't consider those safe for anyone, so no--I wouldn't. If you were green cleaning, it would be totally fine, though a back carry (which is not safe in a Moby) is easier to do chores in.

  • I try not to use any cleaners that I wouldn't want to breathe around my baby. I have asthma so I can be sensitive to smells/airborne particles etc. I use that as my gauge, if I don't want to breathe it she shouldn't either.

I do clean while wearing her though, just with more benign stuff.

  •  I don't like the fumes.

  • I was also afraid of risking some spraying on LO.

    Thanks everyone!

  • I use those chemicals in my kitchen, but not when I'm wearing my baby. I'm just not sure how much they affect her, and the cleaning can wait.
