I'm running out of time for taking a childbirth class, and also have scheduleing issues between my 2 jobs and DH's 1. I've been looking into several DVD sets on Amazon:
Do you think 1 of these will be sufficient, or would you suggest seeing if there is some kind of rush lamaze course that can be offered? TIA
Re: Childbirth DVD's
You watch the first lesson online:
https://laughandlearn.com/home
I borrowed a copy of the 2003 version of Laugh and Learn from my local library.
There were parts I liked and parts I didn't. (I didn't like that she advise resisting the urge to push until you are told you can push. )
In addition to Laugh and Learn you can find some childbirth education videos on ChildbirthMedia channel page on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/ChildBirthMedia
These are old childbirth education movies, (Hello Baby 1989 and Works of Wonder 2000). The movies show natural births, medicated births, and C-section.
