Moving to York

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Minda, and I am a 28 year old wife and mother. My family is going to be moving from Baltimore to York next weekend, and I am resigning my position to stay at home with my 19 month old son Jack. I am very excited, but a little nervous, as I haven't ever stayed at home. I have heard good things about York, and am anticipating spending a lot of time getting to know the area.

Good luck with your move and becoming a stay at home mom.  York is a nice area.  It can be boring at times, but usually a short drive can get you somewhere kid friendly.  Do you know what part of York you are moving to?

Welcome to the area! I just moved to Hellam/Springettsbury area under two years ago with my husband and we are now six weeks pregnant!  Good luck with the move and hopefully you enjoy the area!  PM me if you want some newbie-to-newbie advice

Hi there!  I'm a little late responding, as I don't have much time to get on here.  But I'm originally from Baltimore (grew up there) and then came to York for college.  Met DH at college in York and we decided to stay here after school/get married. 

I do work 4 days a week but if you ever want to meet up, let me know!  I have a 7 month DS!  Welcome!!!
