How long can this last?

DD has been awake, laying in her crib talking to herself and playing with her Pooh and blankets for almost an hour now.  I usually wait until she starts calling for me, but I don't think it's ever been an hour before!  lol

Now she's singing.

Now she's saying "shhhh".  lol

I can't believe it lasted that long.  I think the longest we have made it is about 5 minutes before DD was jumping in her crib yelling "HEY! MAMA HEY!  DADA HEY!"

Hopefully you didn't jinx yourself!

I leave books in DD's bed for her to read when she wakes up. She will stay in her crib happily until she is done reading. Sometimes she even asks for more books.

DD loves playing in her crib. I figure as long as she's having fun and not crying then I let her play. Unless she clearly needs a diaper change or it's been forever since she ate.

No she was totally fine in there. I went ahead and got her though. I was hungry and I figured as soon as I fixed my cereal she'd be ready to get up. I did it to save myself from soggy cereal. Lol She'll probably wake up screaming tomorrow though. It all evens out somehow.
