Help?

I know this is the first trimester board, but I figured you guys recently went through this so I'm going to ask you

 So I'm now 13 days late, which is super unusual for me. The last time it happened was a year ago and I was only 7 days late. Anyway, Ive been getting slight cramps, nothing like my usual menstral cramps, peeing a whole lot, and super dehydrated. Just seeing if anyone else experienced these symptoms.

I know someone's going to say 'take a HPT!' but don't worry I am tonight, I wanted my SO there and we've been working opposite shifts. Just wanted someone else's input I guess.

Anythings possible, and only a test will give you more info! But when you test in the beginning it's important to use urine that's been in your bladder for several hours, first morning urine. So you should take it after you wake up after sleeping for the "night", not sure which shift you're on.  I got a negative test 2 days before my period, missed my period but I didn't test again till 4 days after it was due, when i got my BFP.  And that was FMU both times! Just don't want you to get a false negative! Good Luck!

At 13 days late it shouldn't matter if she uses first morning urine or not...her hcg would be concentrated to read at anytime.  Good luck to you!!!

Thanks! I'm a morning person, but I got thrown onto third shift (which I rarely do, and only for a few as a a time when needed) four nights ago, so my body is just kinda wacky wit that too. Well see wha happens when I wake up!

I really don't think you have to wait until tomorrow...I can't believe you're not peeing on everything in sight to find out!!  Good luck - I'll look forward to your update!!

Haha well I'm home alone and I really want to have my boyfriend here if I am pregnant, as I'm sure there will be tons of emotions flying around. So, he gets out of work a 2 so maybe I should get to sleep and I'll le you know later tonight!

Only testing will tell.

I had zero symptoms before my BFP so I don't think symptoms mean a whole lot without that HPT+!

I was only 6 days late and took two tests about an hour apart so SO could see the second one and they were both positive. According to the test I took, FMU only matters when you're testing before you period is late. After you period is late, you should have enough hcg in your urine at any time.
