I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, but I wanted to introduce myself. I have only posted once before, on the TTC boards.

Anyway, my name is Courtney!

A quick rundown of my story: My husband and I have been married for a little over a year and a half, and decided even before we were married that we wanted a big family. We are about to start the foster care process (Information Meeting June 25th), and are excited to start. I was in foster care as a child, and it is important to me to help children in similar or worse situations than I was.

I hesitated to post here because while we would adopt a child with nowhere else to go, we plan more to foster children and are not actively trying to adopt a child. We're not opposed to it, we just don't want our home to be closed off to more children that need us.

We plan to try to take sibling groups, because while I was always with my sister, our brother was always in a different home. 

I have been on these sites since theknot before my wedding, but don't post very often. I am trying to post more now, to meet new people.

Sorry for the length and rambling! I am very excited to meet all of you lovelies, and will probably have questions, but I'm open to answering any questions as well!!

 (Reading through I saw how many exclamation points I used, and I'm sorry for my over-excitement.)
