Not talking enough?

DD is behind on talking. It was okay before but now its not. She can say one or two words at once but thats it. I think DD and I have to much of a silent communication that its effecting her. I feel horrible for it. I have information for a speech specialist and I'm gonna call them but I just feel bad she is not farther in her language. I feel like a bad momma.

You should read to her every day.  Also when your out or at home doing stuff talk about everything.  Talk about how you cooking dinner, or cleaning her room.  When your out point to stuff, trucks trees kids playground literally anything.  Kids are like sponges and soak up information so fast

I am a lurker but I have a dauighter about your daughters age and she has a speech delay.  We are in speech early intervention through our state and also do proivate spech.  When  we started at 20 months she had 5 words and very little babling.  Today she is 29 months and up to about 20 independent words and another 20 words that use cueing meaning I say and she repeats.  Might not seem huge but to us it is.
