Thoughts on Ethan Thomas??

Ive been having trouble picking a name for my second baby (team Green). DD is Lily Margaret.

 Boys name :

Really liking Ethan ( MN Thomas) - Just worried he would get nicknamed E.T say at school?? He will only be Ethan to us and second name would not be used really.

Whats your thoughts on this?? Other names i like are:

Zachary Thomas

Noah Thomas. 

 Girls names:

 Ava Marie

Cora Marie

Any views welcome as its driving me mad im 33 weeks, and OH is no help at all.

I would not have gotten the E.T. reference had you not said anything. I think Ethan Thomas is a very good name! I also love Cora Marie!

My daughter and I both like Zachary Thomas, she is 9 and agrees on the whole ET thing.  For a girl we like Ava Marie, very pretty

I love Ethan Thomas and Noah Thomas. You and I have very similar taste in boys' names and there aren't many boys names that I like. I don't think an Ethan Thomas would be teased about his name.

I really like Ethan Thomas and I doubt your baby's generation will even know who E.T. is.

I don't think he will get called ET - at this point, will kids his age even know the movie? However, I don't really care for the name.  It is blah to me. I LOVE Zachary Thomas though.

As for the girl name, I prefer Cora since Ava is so popular.

ETA: Go with Cora Marie. Ava Marie is way too similar to Ave Maria for my taste.  I like Cora better than Ava anyway.

I love Ethan, were naming our LO Ethan Edward so I am partial to it Noah was my second choice so we have similar taste in names. Both are great and I doubt ET would even come to mind.

I really like Ethan Thomas and wouldn't change it because of the whole ET thing.  Unless you use the mn a lot then most people will only be aware of his first and last names.   Your other boy names are sweet too, so I would say you'll be good either way.  As for the girl names.  I love Ava because I have one of my own, however Cora is on my potential list for this time around.  Good luck!
