TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Need some honestly ladies!

So, i've been casually checking out  https://www.soulcysters.net message board. While all of my tests came back negative for PCOS, I have every outer symptom of it!

One thing I noticed today, is a lady mentioned this herbal formula. After looking around different sites for more reviews... others have said it has worked wonders for ovulation as well.

https://www.mountainmeadowherbs.com/T_C_Formula_p/t1100.htm

Since it's just herbs, would you be willing to try it?

My doctor is very closed mouth about anything that isn't FDA approved.

Right now i'm willing to try just about anything... but I need to know, am I crazy for wanting to try this stuff? And since it doesn't look like we'll be using "western medicine" for awhile, I just want to try something!

I would probably try it if the research you've done shows it might possibly help and it's not horridly expensive. Can't hurt.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

The one lady said "It has stimulated ovulation 3x for me,and now I am on my 4th month, I got a positive ovulation test two days in a row, yesterday and the day before... you may take it like clomid to stimulate Ovulation.... 2 droppers 4x day for 5 days and then stop, ovulation happens within 3-7 days after usually"

Another review said "This has worked for me 3 times to stimulate ovulation! Awesome awesome product. The first time I took it for 5 days then stopped and ovulated 4 days later or so. The 2nd time, I took it for about 3-4 days and ovulated a day or two later. The third time I took it 7 days, on the last 3 days of taking it, I took it 4x per day. Then I ovulated 1-2 days later!!!"

It just sounds very promising! Like it might actually work. So you think it falls into that "couldn't hurt" category?

It's really not that much money for a chance at getting a BFP.  I say go for it, if you want to.  Meds and such are sooo much right now, and herbal method would be great for you.  I think you should give it at least a few months.  Let me know what you think.  I haven't been DX with PCOS, but I really think I have it.

I honestly would try herbal anything before going on perscriptions, of course after doing the research.

I'm on a herbal regiment that my hollistic doctor gave me (for weight loss, thyroid problems (that my Gyn swears I don't have), and a few other things that I have wrong with me) and I have never felt better.

It's worth a try in my opinion. Hope it works for you if you do try it.

I would see about getting on Metformin. It is what is used to treat PCOS and should help. It is also a very "safe" drug and can aide losing weight, as well.

I would suggest, if you can afford it, a visit with a naturopath before trying herbs, but at the same time, I know how expensive that can get. If you do your research to make sure you know what side effects and drug interactions there might be, I say there's no harm in trying.

If you do try it, I really, really hope it works for you. I think you know I want so much for you to have your take-home baby. (((HUGS)))

Well since I had all of the tests done, and I was told I do not have PCOS, she will not prescribe Met. I still think I have it in one way shape or form.

I got it, and since CD 1 was yesterday, I started taking it today. I've only taken one dose.... but it's really nasty!! I can see why some people only want to do it for a few number of days.

    I'm going to do 2 droppers, 4 times a day from CD2 - till CD14.

I was going to do it until I got a + OPK... but this stuff is pretty nasty! You mix it in with water, and I only did an 8oz glass, maybe I need to mix it in with a bigger glass. That or mix is in with a 4oz one and take it like a shot! Then have something ready to eat right after. Hahaha!

Have you tried vitax/chasteberry?  I think it takes a bit to build up in your system, but it basically acts like mother nature's clomid and should do the same as clomid.
