Anyone have a cricut?

Which would you go with? Expression 2 or the Imagine? I know nothing about the machines but I'm looking into getting one. I would also be cutting fabric with it.

I've looked over the shoulder of a friend while she was using the E2 and thought it looked so cool, especially that it's preloaded with a bunch of cartridges or shapes and you can use the screen to get a more precise placement of what you're cutting. I have the E1 and love it though. I'm not sure which one the Imagine is. I've wanted to try to cut fabric with mine but haven't bothered to learn how yet.

I LOVE my cricut!

Not sure about the cutting fabric. I just have the E1, so maybe they changed it up since then.   I just cut out a template to trace onto the fabric bonding sheet and then cut both out (with scissors) after I iron it onto the fabric I'm using.

Either way, I think you will love it!

I got the E2 for Christmas this year and love it!!  I think it does fabric, but I haven't tried. You would have to adjust the settings or get a specific blade.  It has some good preloaded images which I used to do DD's bday banners, food labels, cupcakes toppers, etc. I borrow most of my cartridges from friends, but have purchsed two for myself that I like to use often.  You will not be disappointed!

I had the cricut expression and actually sold it to get a different machine called a silhouette cameo. It's a little more than the cricut, but in the end, it is SO much cheaper because you don't have to buy all the cartridges.  It can also cut fabric (even though I havn't tried it yet). I can not say enough good things about it. I absolutely LOVE it.
