Sick of going to bed sick

There's nothing more annoying that feeling good all day, then once you get into bed feeling light headed with an upset stomach, kinda like when you drink too much and go to bed, that feeling.  What is that??  Anyone else get this, or am I the only weirdo, LOL?

  • UGH! That is my problem too. I feel prefect all day long then around 8PM every night i get queezy and smells start to gross me out. I just drink tons of water and for some reason that seems to help.

  • I definitely feel my worst at night.  I think I'd rather feel bad at night though, when I can just go to sleep, than feel bad first thing in the morning!

  • It's unfortunately effecting my sleep because every time I move the room spins or my stomach does a flip flop, blahhhh.
  • I'm definitely having the same issue.  I keep a bottle of water and a container of tums beside the bed.  I just do my best to find the most comfortable position I can and try to fall asleep, sometimes this takes a while.

    Good luck with this everyone.

  • Same! Most days I don't even feel like I'm pregnant. It usually starts hitting me between 6-7 at night. But the good news is I usually wake up feeling  better in the morning. I'm just grateful it hasn't been all day sickness like most people!

  • I had the same feeling!  I explained it to my husband as bed spins!  Do you take your vitamins right before bed?  I was and learned I have to take them much earlier and have (luckily) avoided the problem most nights.
  • Me too! I only feel sick in the evenings.  The other night I was up until 4am because I was so yucky that I couldn't sleep.

  • I am in love with my late-night bowl of cereal.   :-)  Not too heavy, puts something in my tummy, and I fall right asleep.  I've found that the trick is to keep something in your tummy all the time.  It's when I'm hungry that the nausea starts to kick my butt.
  • Try eating something light and soothing right before bed--for me, its usually a few bites of yogurt or maybe vanilla ice cream. Also try Unisom--it helps with nausea, AND its a sleep aid, so it might help you zonk out through the nausea.
