Target Merona Maternity...how does it fit?

I'm ordering a shirt from Target Maternity and it's Merona. I've only bought Liz Lange and the store by me does not have ANY shirts in the store that are Merona brand. In the Liz Lange, I wear a L when pre-pregnancy, I wore an XL in shirts. Do you have anything from Target that is Merona? Did you have to order a size down? They do have a sizing chart, but so does Liz Lange and says I should wear an XL, but an XL is far too large on me in that brand.

I wear size 16 jeans and my bust line WAS a 36D (but it now a 40DDD thanks to the growing LO).

My shower dress was Merona, and I'd say they are pretty true to size, but it also depends on the cut. I ordered several dresses for that reason, I didn't know if I needed a S or M, the dress I chose ended up being a S, which I was prepregnancy and 30 lbs ago. But a couple of the other dresses were way too tight in a S and didn't make the cut. If you are unsure, I'd order both, try on at home, and then take the one that doesn't fit right back to the store. Target is great about online returns provided you have the packing slip that came with your order. I seriously ordered 8 dresses to try on and choose from and picked one and took the other 7 back no problem.

I have one Merona top. I made the mistake of buying one size bigger than my normal thinking I'd grow into it as I got huge. Nope now it's just way too big for my boobs so I have to keep pulling it up. Should have stuck with my normal medium.

I can hardly wear Target clothes, maternity or not. I'm really fat but they have the plus sizes, but they way they are all cut is SO weird and different from item to item.

I still look occasionally, because there's always a chance, but it's rare. I have one maternity tank/sleeveless shirt that looks great on me. It might be LL though, I'm not sure; it's not a plus size technically because they don't have plus maternity stuff, but it's a "regular" XXL. I normally wear a plus size 3X, size 24 before pregnancy, and I'm 5'10 so things are usually too short. This fits great, though.

I wear about the same size as you and the L was way too small for me in Merona. I needed an XL. I also blame it on my now ginormous boobs.
