XP from NB: Ok, so I've had two epidural births, each very different. I went into labor on my own...or so I thought until this pregnancy.Last tuesday I had 15 hours of contrax that got very intense and I ended up in the hopstal only to have them stop completely. Even my doula was shocked. Since then I have had hours of contrax 4-5 mins apart for days and then they stop. It's been discouraging to say the least. I wonder now if both of my other births would've been the same if I hadnt had a pitocin pushing OB (my old one). SO now that I am trying to avoid pit, and have a doula, and planned for a NB I am concerned. I am 39 wks tomorrow, I had my two kids at 38 and 39 wks. Dh works on a drilling rig for 3 wks, and right now is staying until the 28th (EDD is the 21st). So my question is, wwyd? I really want DH to have time with the baby, and I really need the help for at least the first 5-7 days.If I make it until 40 weeks, I may have to consider an induction and I dont want pit.WWYD? any ntaural induction methods I should try that could work?BTW I had my membranes swept yesterday and have had cramping and some contrax since. I also feel the baby is lower. I am 1-2 cm and 70%.

Re: XP: WWYD, DH leaves at 41 wks.
I wouldn't do it Unless I was 40 wks I just really want to avoid pit so that's my dilemma.
She said the ball is in my court. I'll look into it, thanks
I'm confident my body remembers what to do but It just needs a boost.
