target returns?

I was given 2 pack n plays at my baby shower...one from Target (I'm not registered there) and the one I registered for from Babies R Us. The one from Target has no gift receipt....will they accept it for store credit? Or am I forced to return the one I actually want to Babies R Us?

    My last experience with Target is that if it's not on your registry or gift purchase log OR you don't have a gift certificate, then Target will only give you store credit for $70 per year. Good luck, though!

    Does BRU carry the one that you got from Target? If so you could just add it to your BRU registry and return it there.

    No BRU doesn't carry the one I got from Target...but I think I will try to return the Target one for the store credit, as I haven't returned anythign there all year so could use my yearly $70 return for this!

    We returned tons of stuff to Target that was not on our registry and we didn't have a gift receipt for. We got store credit with no issues.

    We tried to return a baby monitor to Target with no receipt, and they said it was over the dollar amount and wouldn't do it.
