Does anyone know who makes a pasteurized ranch or blue cheese dressing safe for pregnancy? I am trying to eat salads but am dying without my usual creamy options!

I'm sure they're pasteurized, or heck, it's probably just some weird egg by-product. If you think about all the chemicals they put in salad dressings I'm sure it would kill off just about any living component in the dressing. There's no way it's just straight raw egg in the dressing because it wouldn't be shelf-stable, you know? I'd be more concerned about the other ingredients (i.e. chemicals) in the dressing than I would about the eggs or the dairy
If you're really worried about it you could always make your own. It's not hard at all.

Anything made with raw egg such as caesar dressing, cookie dough and eggnog, will be labeled and kept in the refrigerated section, as far as I know.
I'd be surprised if most dressings weren't pasteurized.
Exactly, I'd definitely avoid fresh caeser dressing unless maybe you were making it at home with pasteurized eggs. But I'm sure the shelf-stable stuff is nothing to worry about.

Anything that sits on a shelf and has an expiration date months in the future has been pasteurized to the point that all of the nutritional value was boiled off with the bacteria.
Look at a package of cookie dough - it will specifically say 1) keep refrigerated and 2) do not consume raw dough. Anything with raw eggs will have this warning. Enjoy your salad dressing!
