When to switch BG inserts?

DD is just around 15 lbs and 4.5 mos.  Since she's super long, and has chubby thighs, I have her on the middle set of snaps on her 4.0s.  It seems to give her a great fit.  I've also just been using the newborn inserts so far because they're so trim, we change often, and she doesn't seem to be soaking them at all.  At night I've used the thicker insert, and she's done great.

When do you need to switch up to the OS inserts?

This.  For us it was at 2 months, so lucky you!

My LO like 5 months before I had to switch. We did what you did for the longest time.

Then up until last week it was just the thicker insert for day and both for night. Now I have to do both inserts for day but we should be there awhile...She's much drier and we stopped leaking but it's also kind of overkill..her inserts are barely dampish sometimes.
